Engagements include:
CDC Global Health Center (GHC)
TSJG works with GHC on the Strategic and Risk Communications project to provide current information regarding the COVID-19 pandemic via success stories, press releases, social media, and technical documentation releases. TSJG provides project management support for the GHC; coordinating the scheduling, management and release of CDC GHC web features and online newsletters. These features address current public health issues, regularly scheduled public health events, and other public health related topics as needed.
CDC Division of Adolescent and School Health (DASH)
TSJG managed the Health Education and Curriculum Analysis Tool (HECAT) digitization project, converting an existing curriculum analysis tool from PDF format to an interactive tool. The conversion was successfully completed on time and within budget in 13 months.
CDC Global Health Center (GDH – GID)
TSJG contributed to the CDC Global Immunization Strategic Framework (CDC GISF) 2021 – 2030 through planning, documentation, review, and approval to support the GID group in coordinating the effort to produce the framework and plan.
Department of Homeland Security (DHS)
ICLN Information Technology Communication Coordination (ITCC) Subgroup of the Integrated Consortium of Laboratory Networks (ICLN).
TSJG successfully managed the creation of standards and implementation strategies for data collection, management, and exchange to create a national network for the sharing of laboratory information. This work included the research, design and implementation of an online method of sharing information across multiple local, state and federal government agencies. The design of this network includes standardized and integrated approaches to terminology, electronic reporting formats, data transport, directory services and security. The architecture allows for participation by labs with lesser technical capacity as well as those with more advanced infrastructure. TSJG managed the successful implementation of the current data exchange between the federal agencies that participate in the ICLN.
Association of Public Health Laboratories (APHL)
TSJG worked on the APHL CIFOR project. The CIFOR project provides a PC-based application which allows state health departments (laboratories) to gather outbreak specific information into a centralized database. The application can then be used to quickly identify outbreak clusters within the state. The system also provides summarized metrics which can be submitted to national organizations (such as CDC), for wider analysis of potential biological clusters. The system can also provide comparisons (metrics) against existing baseline data.
